Sussex Chapter MISSION STATEMENT
Meeting Schedule
In 2010,
the Sussex County (Southern) Chapter will meet at various times and various locations, scheduled in conjunction with
various special functions and training sessions.
The next scheduled meeting is:
The ASD Sussex Chapter will hold their pre-summer “meet and mix” at
the Rehoboth Beach Museum on Tuesday, June 15th at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to view the Captain John and Sarah
Avery exhibit and crew members will be available to discuss their experiences in the field and lab. Light refreshments
will be served and the event is open to the public. A donation of $3 is suggested. If you have an interest in archaeology
and you’ve always wanted to “do” archaeology- this is a great mixer for you! The ASD was founded in 1933 by amateur and professional archaeologists to study and appreciate
archaeology and more recently to assist in the preservation of history. The Society is an open group. Yearly membership
is $10 and the society invites new membership. RSVP: asdsussex@delawarearchaeology.org
